My name is Rakefet Hadar, I live in Israel and work as an Art Therapist with children and adults. The most powerful tool I am using with my clients is the Art of visual Journaling.

I discovered Art Journalling few years ago and it changed my life. From a very young age i used  to paint, draw and create art. However as i grew up I somehow lost the joy that I use to have-creating art.

A few years ago I met a friend who brought with her an altered book, I got hooked immediately, I went on line, found a tutorial on how to make my own altered book and this was the beginning…

Art journaling and the mix media language restored my joy in creating art. I find it can heal the soul. It helped me through difficult periods in my life and since I started teaching it- I see the results in my students and clients.

I  hope the thrill will never stop!
